Shaun Lambert

He has been researching mindfulness since 2006, in different perspectives, including the psychological, Christian and Buddhist perspectives. He thinks mindfulness is a new social phenomenon which needs to be engaged with, especially as it is applied in mental health, work, education and learning, relationships, creativity as well as the spiritual.



He writes regularly for the Baptist Times and other online websites. He believes that all truth is God’s truth and that Christians need to be learners and thinkers who help critique and transform culture. He leads retreats and training days in the area of contemplation and mindfulness. He is pursuing a PhD project in mindfulness via London School of Theology.

He has been a faith guest on Clare Balding’s Good Morning Sunday on BBC Radio 2, presented a spiritual reflection for BBC Radio 4’s Daily Service as well as being interviewed by UCB National Christian radio, Premier Radio, and Share Radio, he has also recorded some financial thoughts of the day for Share Radio.



As well as being the author of ‘A Book of Sparks – a study in Christian MindFullness’ he has written ‘Flat Earth Unroofed – a tale of mind lore’ – a children’s/teenage fantasy fiction novel woven around mindfulness. He is married to Clare and has two children, Zachary and Amy, and a dog called Coco.
