Two Kregel Titles Named 2025 Christian Book Award Finalists

April 08, 2025

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — On April 3, 2025, ECPA named two Kregel titles Christian Book Award finalists among sixty-eight others in twelve categories.

40 Questions About Pentecostalism by Jonathan Black is a finalist in Bible Reference Works. The author provides an accessible overview of the historical, theological, biblical, and experiential factors that make Pentecostalism a vibrant and worldwide Christian movement.

Praying Personalities by Janet Holm McHenry is a finalist in Christian Living. The author has studied prayer extensively, and the one thing she knows for sure is that there's no one-size-fits-all way to pray. Instead, there are different prayer styles—and by discovering the style most instinctive to each personality, individuals will find that staying in touch with God throughout the day becomes all the more joyful.

Find the full list of finalists on the Christian Book Award website. Winners will be announced April 29 at the ECPA Awards Celebration in Nashville.
