GRAND RAPIDS, MI --The Carol Award semi-finalists were announced at the beginning of June on social media and the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) website. Six Kregel titles are included as semi-finalists and span across four fiction categories.
When Stone Wings Fly (Karen Barnett) and
Shadows in the Mind's Eye (Janyre Tromp) are both semi-finalists in Historical;
The Songs that Could Have Been (Amanda Wen) is a semi-finalist in Contemporary;
The Wondrous Gift (Deborah Raney) and
While Mortals Sleep (Janyre Tromp) are both semi-finalists in Novella; and
Counterfeit Love (Crystal Caudill) is a semi-finalist in Debut.
The Carol Awards, hosted by ACFW, recognize the best Christian fiction published by traditional publishing houses in the previous calendar year.
The winners will be announced during the gala awards dinner in St. Louis as part of ACFW's annual conference. A complete list of semi-finalists can be found on their
