GRAND RAPIDS, MI—The 2024 Christy Award winners were announced on November 14 during the ECPA's Christy Award Gala in Downer's Grove, Illinois. One Kregel title was named a Christy winner among nine fiction categories.

"Star of Wonder," by best-selling historical romance author Crystal Caudill, a novella within We Three Kings, won in the Short Form category. In 1884, the Christmas-themed maiden voyage of his family's grand steamer ship was supposed to be Aldrich Weise's chance to instill investor confidence. Instead, he must foil a criminal and protect Celestia Isaacs—the lady love he thought he had to leave behind. Other historical romance authors describe Caudill's story as, "full of romance," "heartwarming," and "a delightful escape."

The Christy Award Gala was held on November 14 at 7:00 p.m. A complete list of winners can be found on their website.
