Love Letters from the Edge: Meditations for Those Struggling with Brokenness, Trauma, and the Pain of Life by Shelly Beach and Wanda Sanchez is the Nonfiction: General category winner in the 2015 Selah Awards.
The Selah Awards were announced May 20, 2015, at a ceremony held during the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference near Asheville, North Carolina. The awards consist of fourteen categories and winners are chosen by individual judges using an established score sheet.
The award was accepted on behalf of the authors by editor Dawn Anderson. Dawn says: "It was such an honor to accept this award for Shelly and Wanda. Women who suffer from PTSD symptoms as a result of trauma and abuse need to hear the messages of love and hope found on every page. Its a privilege for Kregel to partner in worthy projects like this."
